Myrtle Beach to host South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival

Three days of music and more than 20 live acts till takeover Myrtle Beach during the 41st Annual South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival. Scheduled for November 25-27, 2010, the event is the biggest weekend of the year for bluegrass fans.

The musical schedule is as follows:

Thursday, November 25th:

The Easter Brothers - 12:00 noon and 3:45 p.m.
The Crowe Brothers - 12:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
David Peterson & 1946 - 1:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top X-Press - 2:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers - 3:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys - 8:30 p.m. (one 90 minute show)

Friday, November 26th:

Rye Holler Boys - 11:00 a.m . and 3:15 p.m.
Phillip Steinmetz & His Sunny Tennesseans - 11:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Goldwing Express - 12:10 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out - 1:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Jesse McReynolds & The VA Boys - 1:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The Grascals - 2:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Dailey & Vincent - 8:30 p.m. (one 90 minute show)

Saturday, November 27th:

Appalachian Express - 11:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.
Big Country Bluegrass - 11:40 a..m. and 6:25 p.m.
The Bluegrass Brothers - 12:20 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.
The Little Roy & Lizzy Show - 1:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
J.D. Crowe & The New South - 1:40 p.m.and 9:15 p.m.
Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver - 2:25 p.m. and 8:25 p.m.
Dailey & Vincent - 3:15 p.m. (one 90 minute show)

Tickets for the event are $40 for reserved seating and $35 for general admission. A three day pass is $95 for reserved seating and $85 for general admission. Children ages 6-13 are $20 per day for general admission, $25 for reserved seating and a child’s three day pass is $45 for general seating and $50 for reserved.
