Ripley's Aquarium Myrtle Beach Dives into the Holidays with Festival of Trees

Ripley’s Aquarium Myrtle Beach hosts Festival of Trees now through December 31, 2011. The event features more than 50 trees on display throughout the aquarium and adorned in unique ornaments, each of which represent the diversity found in the United States.

The Ripley’s Aquarium Festival of Trees began in 2001 with 10 trees representing states such as New York, South Carolina and Florida. Some of the most unique trees available at this year’s event include the white Alaskan tree; the Kentucky Derby inspired red roses tree Nevada, complete with a showgirl feather headdress; the patriotic Pennsylvania tree; the Oklahoma tree, complete with longhorns; and the Mari Gras tree, representing Louisiana.
This year’s festival also features a 20-foot tall red, white and blue tree in the outside plaza.

Festival of Trees is included with the purchase of Ripley’s Aquarium tickets.
