April 6: Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest
The highly-anticipated Myrtle Beach preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest returns to the South Carolina coast on Saturday April 6th, 2013. This year’s contest marks Myrtle Beach's 6th anniversary hosting the prestigious contest including the addition of an Elvis festival weekend at Broadway at The Beach.  The contest show begins at 7pm at Legends in Concert Theater.

April 12-21:  Society of Stranders (SOS) Spring Safari
The Shag is the state dance of South Carolina and welcomes festivals and events at various times in the year. Shagging competitions at local clubs are quite fierce and most of all, fun to watch. The Society of Stranders (SOS) promotes a theme of “Good Friends, Good Times and Great Memories.”

April 20: NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Race
The Myrtle Beach Speedway hosts this event featuring NASCAR Late Models, a Charger Race, Mini Stock Race, & Bus Racing.

April 25-27: Myrtle Beach International Film Festival

April 27: Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival
This family-friendly festival includes music, food, a family fun zone, and 60 racing teams and will be held at Grand Park at The Market Common.
